Executive Profile
Clinically grounded.
Operationally fluent.
Four decades in nursing — from the OR floor to executive leadership,
with nearly two decades of it inside Gulf healthcare.
Lorrie Bushby is a nursing executive whose career spans a decade at King Faisal Specialist
Hospital & Research Centre, director-level perioperative leadership in Riyadh and Kuwait,
and clinical operations direction in Canadian surgical care. Her portfolio covers the full
perioperative and critical care spectrum — ORs, pre-admission, recovery,
SICU, CCU, cardiac catheterisation, endoscopy and sterile processing.
Her leadership pairs frontline clinical credibility with systems thinking: she directed the
Cerner SurgiNet programme, served as lead Nursing Affairs representative for the Clairvia and
Capacity Management implementation, established workforce and safety analytics with Press
Ganey, and led perioperative teams through CBAHI accreditation twice with zero findings. She is registered with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
through April 2027 and is seeking to return to the Kingdom in an executive nursing role.
